7 Secrets of Creative Scrapbooking
What is creative scrapbooking ? I would define it as doing scrapbooking in creative ways. I’m sure everyone has little creativity talent. Just lack of awareness of the creativity sources. I always trying and sourcing many different ways of creativity. Here I share my secrets of my creative scrapbooking.
Secret #1 Source from Library
There are lots of creative craft books and magazine from the library. Goto your neighbourhood library to source for craft books. You will find lots of creative craft books available for your creative scrapbooking ideas. Normally craft books from children sections are the most resourceful in creative craft ideas.
Secret #2 Join scrapbooking forum to exchange ideas
Joining scrapbook forum and read those related topic articles from the scrapbooking forum is another way to source for creative ideas. Lots of scrapbooker guru are there to help and advise you anytime, anyway.
Secret #3 check out craft store to get creative ideas
Some people releasing stress by windows shopping, so do I. I love to visit craft store during my leisure shopping time. This is a great idea because besides releasing your “stress” while windows shopping at the craft store, also can pick up some creative idea for your scrapbooking.
Secret #4 Brain storm with friends who is very creative thinker
If you have a friend who is a very creative thinker, brain storm your ideas with him or her. I’m sure you can get tripple ideas of what you have by chatting with them your creative ideas in your scrapbooking.
Secret #5 Be imaginative and think out of box.
Yes, imagination and think out of box is another way to create your creative memories of scrapbooking. Imagine thinks like cat flying with winds, our life is wanderful with imagination. Think out of box, do not restrict your creative mind to run wild!
Secret #6 creativity from advertisement on newspaper or public medias
Advertisement media is always very creative to attract attention from the crowd. I love to read advertisement wording from poster, TV or internet to learn their creative skills and make use of some nice words in my scrapbooking too.
Secret #7 Do scrapbooking freely without restriction in your mind.
I used to create a very creative scrapbooking with my daughter. My daughter is 4 years old now, I found she is able to create anything freely without restriction of sky must blue, pig must be pink, skin can be purple color. It’s really fun when you create scrapbooking freely!
